I would recommend that you leave the 35 MM film camera, and all other film cameras for that matter, to the experienced professional photographer that knows how to take great photos and then develop their own film. A film camera can help the serious professional achieve a level of aesthetic quality that is more pleasing to the eye, but it takes a keen eye and years of experience to accomplish this. The digital camera inherently provides a high level of quality along with an ease of use and is the camera of choice in this modern age.

Hi,

I'm looking for a new digital SLR camera.

Previously, I've used small compact digital cameras and recently, I've been inspired by the picture quality of a friends Fuji digital SLR camera.

I will also be using the camera to produce marketing videos for my websites. So in that respect, it needs to be capable of producing good quality video.

No Pentax products please !!! I've worked there and so I'm well aware of their shortcomings !!!

I'd be grateful if someone can suggest a product circa $250 (£160).

Thanks.

@Deni I was able to get the filter off but it took a lot of work. The damage to the filter made it impossible to unscrew. I was eventually able to get hold of one end of the broken frame of the filter and pull it inwards out of the thread and repeat the process over and over as each piece of the frame broke off separately. Once off, the threads seemed undamaged and I was able to add a new filter
